I am currently trying to set up a SSO environment between Active Directory and Exchange 365 by using
Microsoft Azure AD. I have got my domain verified for sync and my directory is activated within Azure. The next step is to install and run the directory sync tool. When I begin the install of dirsync.exe I am met promptly with an error code
1625. The error tells me that it is "unable to uninstall the Windows Azure Active Directory Sync tool. Use the Control Panel to remove the Directory Sync tool." Everything I've found about the 1625 error says it is just informational
and gives no guidance. I have gone through my program files and removed everything labeled Azure, there has not been anything in the Control Panel where you can usually remove programs. Nothing in the Windows updates section. I have found
nothing in the registry. If anyone can give some guidance on this I would greatly appreciate it!
