Can't add Azure AD Premium to Azure

Hi,

I purchased Azure AD Conect Health for my PAYG Azure subscription, having purchased Azure AD Premium. The license on Azure AD states Premium, however, when I try to add Azure AD Premium to my subscription (in the new portal) I get this error:

You are required to have Azure Active Directory Premium license to be able to create and use Azure Active Directory Connect Health.

Please advise?

Office365 REST API, Client authentication

$

Hi,

I am writing a windows service for fetching calendar events from an Office365 tenant.

I understand that my service must be registered in Azure AD and that I need to use 'auth strength of 2'. So I have created a self-signed x509 certificate and modified the manifest file of my application.

My question is: Can I call the Office365 REST API directly from my windows service or do I have to use some kind of 'Two tier access' as suggested here and in this sample?

I'm confused. Given that my application is registered in AAD and I have the certificate registered and I use it when authenticating I should be able to access the Office365 REST API directly? No?

Thanks and best regards,

We have successfully deployed AADSync and Federation so our users can log into Office 365.  However, if I go to our Azure directory and try to add our domain it says "Sync has never run"

Do we need to have two separate instances of AADSync?  Are the office 365 and azure ADs linked or separate?

Hello

i have currently some problems with the Azure Active Directory Connect Public Preview Wizard.

If i trying to connect to the active directory we receive the following error:

One or more Domains could not be reached while validating the forest contoso.com. Please verify Network connectivity and Firewall policies for the following partitions: subcontoso.contoso.com.
We already checked the network connectivity and are also able to connect to the
subcontoso.contoso.com domain controller via ldap.

Is there a way to exclude subdomains for the wizard?

Single Sign On Issue with WAAD and NewRelic

Been setup with single sign on between WAAD and NewRelic for a few months now and everything worked great through myapps.Microsoft.com but this morning, we're having issues logging into NewRelic via myapps.  I've open a ticket with NewRelic already but wanted to post here as well.

The error we get is:We received a bad request.

invalid namespace

Hi. I'm attempting to fix Azure AD Sync to an Office 365 account.  When I launch the Directory Sync Configuration tool, I get a dialog box that says Invalid Namespace and then the long exception text below.  I'm currently unable to configure or uninstall the tool, so it just generates errors all day long.  Really could use some help finding a solution.  Thanks.

Jeff

See the end of this message for details on invoking

Portions or All of Uploaded Manifest File Portions Ignored in Azure Active Directory

In working through the "configuration" portions of the WA Active Directory I'm uploading a manifest file (Json) and even when the upload seems to go without a hitch (no errors). However the manifest file seems to have little or in some cases no effect on the "configuration" portion of the portal.

More specifically I'm desperately trying to configure an endpoint in Azure to provide a token to a mobile client app so that the app will have access to a service on one of my development machine that will trust the claim issued by the Azure end point. For some reason, this seemingly simple task is complicated by inconsistent nomenclature used by or in the examples provided (including sample code located here). I have provided the upload Json manifest file and theresulting Json manifest file (download after upload).

Upload Json manifest file contents:

1- What do I need to do to ultimately get the token needed by my development "web service" development end point from Azure Active Directory Service?

2- Why doesn't this manifest file have the effect of having the applications show up in the combo box at the bottom of the "configuration page"?

In the "

Permissions to other applications

section....

Any help at this point would be greatly appreciated.

Can't change Azure Active Directory associated with my subscription

Hi,

I want to change the Azure AD tenant that is associated with my subscription, but when I view the Subscriptions page under Settings in the portal it doesn't give me the Edit Directory button down the bottom.

Does anyone have any ideas why that might be or if there is a way to change tenant with PowerShell (I haven't been able to find one!) or any other way.

Thanks

Setting the prompt=login in an Oauth2 request with Windows authentication in ADFS results in an error

I configured an application in the Azure Directory. When I add the prompt=login parameter to the authorize uri, as described here: https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/azure/dn645542.aspx, it works only when ADFS is configured to use Forms Authentication. In the case of Windows Authentication, I get an error: "An error occurred. Contact your administrator for more information.". Is there any workaround to this? Has anyone experienced this before, is this the actual cause of the problem? What are the implications of using both methods of authentication for the intranet?

Error on microsoft login page for OpenId authentication using Azure AD

We have implemented authentication for multi tenant SaaS solution which uses Azure Ad single sign on using OpenIdConnect authentication and its working fine.
The problem is when user is logged in in azure management portal with his live account and in other tab he try to open our app, then he directly gets below error on Microsoft login page.

again with an Azure Active Directory user account.

This works fine if I will pass "prompt=login" query string parameter in sign in request, But in that case single sign on is not working. Is there any way to resolve this issuewithout loosing single sign on experience?

Addining additional Containers of Objects in Sync Service Manager returns no results

We are trying to work on a first time syncing of an OU from our on premise AD to Azure AD.

For our first sync test, we were able to use the Sync Service Manager and select our container of IT users for our first test.

The sync was successful and now that we bring up the Container selection screen again and make changes to include or exclude other OUs/Containers, those additional users are not synced up to Azure.  Only the original container of IT users seem to get synced to Azure.

I'm assuming that the initial selection of Containers and Objects to sync is not a 'one time' choosing?   But I am having problems getting an additional container of users to sync to Azure.

The container selection screen in Sync Service Manager seems to represent the additional changes that I am requesting - but no results (or noticeable errors) are coming out of it.

Ideas?
