Hi everyone,
We’ve just launched a Preview of our new sign-in experience to Office 365, CRM Online, Windows Azure, Windows Intune, and other services used by organizations. You can read more about this Preview in Alex Simon's post on the Windows Azure blog.
The new sign-in experience runs side-by-side the old one, and can be turned on (opt in) by visitinghttps://login.microsoftonline.com/optin.srf. You’ll need to opt in from any device you want to test it with.
Please use this forum thread to provide feedback or report issues.
Our engineering team is looking forward to your feedback during this Preview. If you are reporting a bug, make sure to specify the device/OS/browser version and the repro steps.
Thanks in advance!
List of known bugs/issues as of 2/5/2013:
- The login page is not always zoomed in correctly on Nokia 920 and HTC 8X phones
- Some fonts are showing incorrectly in recent builds of Firefox
- Footer links may show out of place on Windows 8's Web Auth Broker and on Nokia 820 phones
- Clicking Sign-in just after entering a federated username does not always take you to your organization's sign in page (e.g. ADFS). If this happens, click or tap on the Password field, or simply refresh the page
- If you use a managed account, and enter a wrong password 10 times in a row, the account may be temporarily locked. On some browsers, a CAPTCHA may fail to show and you may not be able to unlock the account. If this happens, you'll need to opt-out of the new UX to see the CAPTCHA and unlock the account
- If you sign in with a Microsoft account and check Keep Me Signed In, then sign out, a user tile may fail to show at subsequent visit
- When you sign in with a user tile that represents a managed account, entering the wrong password on a subsequent visit may cause the user tile to disappear
- On sign out, some browsers may get stuck on a blank logout page. If this happens, simply refresh the page
- If your browser reverts back to the old UX, it may be because your opt-in has expired. If this happens, opt in again
- No service customization is shown if you directly type login.microsoftonline.com (in the old UX, this page showed an Office 365 branding)
- Re-authentication and logout flows may not render properly in Windows 8's Web Authentication Broker
