Hello,
I created on windows azure a vm with Windows Server 2008 R2, I did all steps before installing Enkompas (Enkompass is a control panel-cpanel for windows os) from this link, http://docs.cpanel.net/twiki/bin/view/11_32/EnkompassHelp/InstallingEnkompass (install active directory, promote Active Directory as the Domain Controller, install IIS, etc). But when I try to run Enkompass installation file I get the error: "This server must be setup with static IP addresses. It should not be configured to use DHCP" and the installation stops.
As you know, vms' in Azure do have static public IP addresses, but you can not assign them from Local Area Connection -> Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) -> Properties, otherwise this will cause communication failures!
So, I want to ask if you could tell me Enkompass can be installed on a windows azure virtual machine? How can I skip this issue with static IP?
Thanks in advance,
George
