Why can't I view Device Details in Azure AD for Connected Devices?

In our Azure AD instance of our Office 365 account I have connected a few devices for testing purposes. I can see my devices I have connected in the Azure portal in the Active Directory module. However, the "View Details" button is always grayed out for all devices. Why is that? Does it have to do with our syncing to our on-site Active Directory? We don't have Device Write-Back enabled in AAD Connect. So, I'm confused as to what could be causing this button to be disabled even for user accounts that are cloud only. Anyone have an idea?
