I have email id foo@xyz.com which is also a Microsoft account and has subscription associated with it. Foo's default directory is 'fooxyz.onmicrosoft.com'
Using 'foo' I logged into https://manage.windowsazure.com and created a new tenant “xyz.onmicrosoft.com” and then I also added & verified our domain “xyz.com”. so now in AD we can create organizational user as newuser@xyz.onmicrosoft.com ornewuser@xyz.com
Now I am trying to add B2B users, but I'm getting error "EXTERNAL USER ADMINS CANNOT CURRENTLY INVITE OTHER EXTERNAL USERS. PLEASE USE AN ACCOUNT THAT WAS CREATED IN THIS TENANT, I.E. A USER IN THE XYZ.ONMICROSOFT.COM DOMAIN OR A VERIFIED DOMAIN IN THIS TENANT."
Note that 'foo' is the one who created this directory. I can add B2B users in foo's default directory which is 'fooxyz.onmicrosoft.com' but that not what I want.
So I created new organizational user
admin@xyz.onmicrosoft.com. When admin tries to login to
https://manage.windowsazure.com gets error
“No subscription Found, before you start using Microsoft Azure, you need to get subscription”
Grrrrrrr!!!!!
So if I use Microsoft account that has subscription associated with it, it gives error as “External user cannot add users from partner companies” and if we use organizational account then it gives error “No subscription found”
Am I missing something? If I can add b2b users only in my default directory then how can I delegate access to other co-worker so he can manage this AD as well?
