Hello All - The technet page 'What's Discontinued in Exchange Online' at http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/jj874017%28v=exchg.150%29.aspx says that creating mailbox in 'Exchange Admin Center' has been discontinued and gives the reason as
<<
Using the Office 365 admin center is the recommended method because licenses can be assigned at the time of mailbox creation
>>
However, it also says mailboxes can be created using shell i.e using 'New-Mailbox'. My point is that even with this powershell cmdlet, the above issue still exists, i.e this cmdlet just creates a mailbox but does not assign license. So just need a clarification that will this cmdlet also be discontinued in future ? I did ask about this in office 365 community forum, but did not get satisfactory answer.
Please confirm. Thanks.
