Hi,
Could someone shed some light on the Access Control Namespace and what type of x.509 certificate I need to purchase? I have followed the instructions to setup an access control namespace to allow google authentication with our on-premise implementation of SharePoint 2013. I used a self-signed development certificate for testing and everything worked fine. Now to put in production I am trying to figure out what kind of x.509 token signing certificate I need to purchase. One company said it is a code signing cert, but that doesn't sound correct. Since the certificate has a *.accesscontrol.windows.net domain, would I be able to get one for <NAMESPACE>.accesscontrol.windows.net? Usually when you request a cert, it contacts the domain owner, which isn't me -- it is on windows.net. How does this work?
Thanks
