Ugh. PLEASE forgive me - I'm sure this is a totally inane question. We are moving physical locations at my work and it looks like our Windows Server 2008 will no longer handle the roles of DHCP and DNS server. That leaves basically the Active Directory, Group Policy Management, & Print Server. So....
Is Azure a product that I can somehow use to have all that stuff in the cloud? Maybe setup a virtual machine and somehow point our clients to it for logins? Or am I laughably far off base? Is it possible to even host this type of thing online? Would be great if we could get rid of our dated servers.
Searching "active directory cloud" basically leads me here but I can't understand anything I'm reading, more or less, that answers my question in layman's terms.
Any links or a brief explanation would be greatly appreciated!
