How do I connect to different AD on a subscription

We have an O365 tenant "ACMEGLOBAL.ONMICROSOFT.COM" and accounts on this are synchronised with each country's AD

So

- ACME.UK

- ACME.NL

-ACME.FR

etc

From the O365 management portal there is an option for Azure AD - so clicking on this sends us through to the Azure portal where I can manage the ACME.GLOBAL domain (cloud) and see all the accounts.

Now, within this subscription we have created a secondary AAD called "external"; a domain associate with this is "EXTERNAL.GLOBAL" where we wish to create external users to access the O365 services (mainly SharePoint online).

Now, the password policy on the AAD for ACME.GLOBAL can be easily set to expire after 60 days (there's a very nice interface on the O365 portal), however, within the Azure Portal, there's no such mechanism, so have found that I can do this via powershell.

In Azure Portal I can see ACMEGLOBAL and EXTERNAL, and all the domains associated with each.

However, each article I've read on connecting to Azure AD is defaulting me to ACMEGLOBAL and I cannot (and have tried for over 1 hour installing all sorts of Azure tools) connect to the EXTERNAL one.

Anyone have any ideas how I connect to this secondary and non-O365-connected external AAD?

Many thanks
