Cannot see the Active Directory item in the Azure Portal

I have a Microsoft Account that has been made co-administrator of an Azure subscription and global administrator of the Active Directory for that subscription however, when I log in with that account I have no access to the Active Directory item. I can view the subscription information in Settings and I can see that the Active Directory is the same as the one I've been made a global administrator on but the Active Directory area shows 0 items and the "Edit Directory" button on the Setting page is disabled. What am I missing?

Any suggestions you might have will be appreciated.
