Hi,
When I create a new group in AD and Sync it to the cloud the membership approval is by default closed. Any changes done on themsExchGroupJoinRestriction attribute are not getting replicated to Office 365.
In DirSync we can see that the Import takes place but we cannot see any export of this attribute to Office 365. After further researching this internally and consulting with additional resources, it seems that the behavior is by design. However the art8icle is not correct.
