ASP Identity and Azure Active Directory

I have a ASP.NET MVC website using the latest version of ASP Identity. I also have WebApi Controllers that also use the ASP identity (Tokens, etc).

Meanwhile I have a customer who wants to have SSO using their AD. So I heard about creating my own Azure AD and synchronize with theirs using federation.

Is it possible using ASP Identity?
Is also possible to keep side by side my current DB based authentication method, and the new one?

I haven't found a single example of the ASP Identity integrated with the Azure AD.

Can someone shed some light here?
