Azure Application Proxy - Form Action Post Problem

<FORM NAME="F1" ID="F1" METHOD="POST" ACTION=http://servername:80/app/MainPage.aspx>

We are very excited to use Azure Application Proxy to start an application in a bunch of different environments.  Unfortunately, in testing I just discovered that the web application has the following code on it's logon page. It's causing it to break out of the Azure Application Proxy and go straight to the Servername. This is obviously bad code on the server side, and who knows how many more forms within the application are coded this way.

I fear that the application proxy will never do this level of inspection, and thus never be able to translate items embedded in the HTML at this level.

Am I Correct?

On the other hand, bad code is not uncommon. Has this already come up with other applications? Is there any hope it might be supported in the future?  I imagine it would only be possible if the inside URL doesn't use SSL.
