On premises - Azure AD reconfiguration

Hello everyone,

5 months ago we moved our company from Google Apps to Microsoft Office 365. We created a local DC and used Azure AD to sync object in between our local AD and the remote one on Azure. On top of that, we connected Office365 and based our entire company operations/data/services on Exchange Online/Sharepoint(onedrive as well).

When we signed with Azure AD free, we of course opened a subscription. This subscription has ended after a month, and was disabled. We received for another 2 months notices and we approached Microsoft and asked them since Azure AD free, do we need to pay/modify the subscription...etc'. We were told there's nothing we should do since the Azure AD although related to the subscription isn't effected and is actually free.

It's been 3 months since we asked and last Saturday, the subscription and free trial of Azure were deleted automatically. We are furious over this breach of confidence from Microsoft and the case has escalated and is still in debate. We understood there is no way to restore the Azure AD data and we have only 90 more days of work left.

Since we have an on-premises configuration, and even though I'm not sure whether we'll continue to work with Microsoft after this incredible fiasco...I would need some help in understanding how to re-create the Azure AD subscription(easy part)and reconnect it to our local AD(DirSync)and more importantly, how to reconnect the objects from Azure AD to Office365.

Any help would be appreciated.
