really, who thought that anything occurring at MS at the moment was a good idea?

i'm an ancient solaris admin. i liked having an operating system where: a) i understood every component from the kernel up and b) the company that wrote it didn't keep releasing endless bits of broken software apparently designed using the infinite monkey principle. when will you stop wasting our time:

gosh i'm so tired of doing something MS related, and every single time - it won't work off the bat. this particular one demands powershell 3.0. you could have added that one in. still, only one extra download required for a MS tool, not too bad. but wait! i need to reboot my server. give me a moment while i fk with my production environment. - just kidding, i've got a virtual machine since i've learnt that MS products often break themselves.

OH FFS. i'm going to tell everyone they can't use office 365 and ditch it for a bad job. its only 400 students that will get to use google docs instead,

 waste of my time, endlessly. the only reason i tried this tool is because the other one refuses to accept my ad enterprise admin credentials for no discernable reason.
