DirSync - Configuration error - Your Credentials could not be authenticated. Try again or contact Technical Support

Hello,

When running DirSync for the first time I get the following error when trying to enter Windows Azure AD Credentials:

Configuration error - Your Credentials could not be authenticated. Try again or contact Technical Support

I've already seen and followed the suggestions in KB2502710:

I am running DirSync from a the DC of the domain I want to sync and this is running on an Azure VM. I am using the Global Admin credentials for AD which is the same as the Service Administrator for the subscription.

Any ideas?
