AD FS 2 on Azure AX 2012 R3 virtual machine

Hi,

I try to follow this white paper: Configure the Microsoft Dynamics AX environment for companion apps (http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=36776).

I am stuck on the Configure an Active Directory Federation Service for authentication section.

I use an Azure AX 2012 R3 virtual machine and I try to set up AD FS 2.0 on this virtual machine.

Is this even possible to set up AD FS 2.0 on this kind of virtual machine? If yes, is there any guidance how to set it up on this specific virtual machine (AX 2012 R3)?

I have tried to set it up but at this moment I cannot get the ADFS service running. I get this error when I try to validate my adfs service through internet explorer:

Service Unavailable

HTTP Error 503. The service is unavailable.
