Azure Active Directory and Office 365 DirSync without On-Primises

Hi,

I have a scenario where I want to go all-cloud without on-premises servers and AD. I have setup my Azure Environment. I have my Azure AD tenant, I have my Azure Virtual Network, I have added a custom domain on Azure and verified it. My domain is called AAAAA. I have created an Azure domain controller VM. So basically this is my local AD (but on the cloud)

On the other side I have Office 365 with domain AAAAA.onmicrosoft.com. I can't use my custom domain AAAAA on office 365 because I have already used it on my Azure AD tenant.

Now, I want to Single Sign on to Office 365 with my local AD which is on the cloud. I downloaded DirSync onto one of the servers on my network. I ran it successfully and specified my office 365 admin account as the Windows azure credentials on my DirSync. I specified my Azure admin credentials as my local ad credentials on DirSync. Everything ran smoothly without errors. However, there is no Sync happening.

My question is, Is it possible to Single Sign On between Azure AD and office 365 without on premises configuration? If it is, how should it be done?
