m-DS-ConsistencyGuid / ObjectGUID when moving AD sync to new server

Hi,

I installed a new AD sync server in existing domain. Old server is using ADFS and the m-DS-ConsistencyGuid source anchor.

Im seeing the new server is using ObjectGUID - Server has staging mode enabled.

When trying to chance source anchor on new server i get:

Your source anchor configuration cannot be changed because m-DS-ConsistencyGuid is already in use ...

I dont mind using ObjectGUID - I just want to make sure my users already synced to O365 stays intact? And that they are not removed/addeed? Users are using Exchange Online .. Really dont want to re-create mailboxes etc ..
