Hi folks,
I am making first tentative steps with WAAD and I am interested to know if there is a way that I can query the REST API simply using a web browser - given that its a REST API I was kinda hoping I would be able to.
I made a request to https://directory.windows.net/mygroovycompany.onmicrosoft.com/Users (using Chrome, not that it should make a difference) and got back the following payload:
<error xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/ado/2007/08/dataservices/metadata" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance"><code>Authentication_Unauthorized</code><message xml:lang="en">Unauthorized request.</message></error>
Now that makes perfect sense, at no point here did I authenticate myself. However, I'm wondering whether it is even *possible* to authenticate in this scenario.
I guess this thread can be summed up thus:
Is there a way to authenticate & query against the WAAD REST API using a web browser?
thanks in advance
Jamie
